Hello All...well, I haven't been too well lately. Patti ended up taking me to the hospital Thursday night because I kept passing out and I had some pressure on my chest. Well, they took a bunch of test, but finally gave me some fluids and oxygen and that really helped. I am so dehidrated. I have been going daily to the cancer center to get fluids cause I just can't seem to get food or water past my sore throat. Even though I have completed my radiation treatments, the effects are still hanging on. I continue to get more dehidrated even though I have been getting fluids daily. Friday the cancer center increased my fluids and added a few extras in there for me. I feel much better, but now Patti and I have to decide before Monday if I will get a feeding tube or if I will try and battle through. I have one doctor that says "yes" we are at the feeding tube point and then I have my other doctor that says "no" I need to keep plugging away and I will get through this without inserting a tube. Unfortunatly, I am not sure what to do. I am having so much trouble getting anything down and I continue to get worse; however, I will have to go through another surgery to have the tube inserted. This is a very hard decision for us to make. All I am sure of is that I want to get better and get back to my wonderful job and to normal everyday living.
