Went to the audiologist and had my hearing tested. Results will be sent to my chemo doctor so he will have a better idea if the chemo is affecting my hearing. I will get my liver, kidney, and hearing results on Monday the 14th. Because my doctor was concerned with some current issues I have, he had requested all these tests to be done. Also had a check-up with my ear, nose, and throat doctor because I have been having some swelling and pain in my ear and throat. He verified it was not an infection, but my lymph node has started to swell and is putting pressure on my ear canal. Tomorrow Patti and I will be doing Chemo education and I will also have another CAT scan. This scan will become part of my PET scan so they can accurately pinpoint the exact area for the radiation treatments. If everything goes alright with my test results, I should be starting chemo and radiation very soon. I am very happy with all my doctors and the nurses. They are very informative and caring.
