Just wanted to give everyone an update. My WBC counts are still down and I will still have to wear a mask when I go out in public. I didn't have to get the shot to boost my counts because I didn't drop any lower, but I did lose more weight. I am getting more nausiated as the time goes by and I also am quite exhausted. My doctors want me start taking my nausia medication BEFORE I try and eat because they are concerned I will start associating sickness with food and I will not eat at all. So I quess I will try that approach, but I truly am trying to eat; however, all food taste the same...or should I say all food has NO taste and nothing seems to sit well. My treatments are right on track and I seem to be doing well..even though I feel like s**t. All the docs think I am doing great. My neck is starting to get rashes from all the radiation, but I keep applying my lotion faithfully, so I don't get too bad. I still have to go in for flushings on Thursday and Friday, so now, I spend a GOOD portion of my time at the center. The flushings do help me feel somewhat better, but I am ready to be done. I will be done with treatments on the 11th of November. I am SOOOO ready. Thanks again to everyone that has been there for me. You all mean so much and I can't wait till I can get back into the swing of things. Love you All.
